The Aerospace Futures Alliance
The Washington Aerospace Training & Research (WATR) Center is managed by Edmonds College through an operating agreement with the Aerospace Futures Alliance of Washington (AFA).
Aerospace Futures Alliance of Washington (AFA) seeks to represent the needs and concerns of Washington’s 1,450 aerospace companies, regardless of size. It is committed to pursuing the issues that are important to the aerospace industry in the legislature and through the initiative process. The AFA has been instrumental in leading the effort to get legislation passed to help the aerospace industry create a positive business climate for the aerospace industry through legislation, workforce training and improved transportation. The AFA works with legislators to help assure aerospace jobs both now and in the future throughout the state of Washington.
